Attached is your PO for deliveries of recyclables during April2023.

The value of recyclables isup this month.OCC and some plastic grades are driving most of the improvement.  Metals are down this month.

In the Pacific Northwest (PNW), demand from domestic paper mills is very strong. However, the same is not true for export OCC pricing.  Export market demand fell again this month.  So, export OCC pricesdecreased, or in a few instances, spot pricing remained flat.  With consumer generation continuing to be down, there is a shortage of OCC to meet both export and domestic demand.  As most of the OCC generation goes towards the domestic market, overall OCC pricing improved.  Mixed paper demand and pricesremained flat this month.

Again, this month, the demand for HDPE Natural outpaces consumer generation.  As a result, pricing for this grade improved again.  A couple of other plastic grades improved slightly with others remaining flat.  The supply and demand of most plastic grades remains in a state of equilibrium.  Therefore, overall plastic prices have not changed a lot over the last several months.

As for metals, both UBC and tin prices dropped.  A sluggish construction market is a primary driver for reduced metal pricing.  The lack of economic growth will probably lead to a suppressed metals market forthe near future.  However, we do expect to see a small bump in the UBC market as consumer beverage consumption typically increases during summer months.

In the last few months, we have experienced small improvements in the recyclables market.  We predict the recyclable market will continue to stabilize as we anticipate a delayed U.S. economic recovery later this year.

During these unpredictable times, we will always strive to obtain the best pricing available and to provide you with the best possible service.  It is our pleasure to work with you to recycle material and to protect our environment.  We appreciate you and thank you for your business.

Stay Safe!  Enjoy this Holiday season.
