I am happy to report that the market for recyclable materials has again moved up over the past few weeks.  This movement is a continuation of the seasonal trends of lower supply and higher demand during Spring as mills prepare for the harvest season and homeowners consume less until later in the year.  This trend has been especially significant in the market for recycled plastics which is experiencing an improvement in demand from the irrigation and construction markets, both good weather industries.  Lastly, the dollar has strengthened recently relative to the Euro which has reduced the incentive for the Chinese to buy material from Europe as they did last year.
